The Catching Guy – Catchers Masterclass Weekend

WHAT WILL BE COVERED:

This weekend will include the following:

  1. Nine hours of detailed, personalized instruction focusing on the “Big 3” catcher skills of receiving, blocking & throwing.
  2. Video breakdown of professional catchers performing the skills being taught.
  3. A notebook and pencils for “Brain Dump” sessions.
  4. A personalized, detailed follow up portfolio with a list of drills and exercises to perform that are specific to each catchers needs.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

DAY#1
9:00 – 9:30 Video breakdowns (stances & receiving focus)
9:30 – 9:45 Catcher Specific Active Dynamic Warm Up
9:45 – 12:00 Drills & Exercises for skill improvement (Brain Dump sessions mixed in throughout).
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch (provided)
1:00 – 1:30 Video breakdowns (blocking focus)
1:30 – 1:45 Catcher specific active dynamic warm up
1:45 – 4:00 Drills & Exercises for skill improvement (Brain Dump sessions mixed in throughout).
DAY#2
9:00 – 9:30 Video breakdowns (throwing focus)
9:30 – 9:45 Catcher Specific Active Dynamic Warm Up
9:45 – 12:00 Drills & Exercises for skill improvement (Brain Dump sessions mixed in throughout).

 

An online deposit is required (NO exceptions on the deposit). Please email me if you’d rather pay the remainder of your fees with cash or check.
Note: If we for any reason have to cancel the event, you will be issued a full refund. If for any reason YOU need to cancel your registration, we do NOT do refunds and you will be issued a camp credit good for one year.


IMPORTANT: Once you register for an event, our main source of communication with you will be through email. Please check your email often and if you are not receiving our update emails, check your spam or junk email folder. We often send links in these emails and that sometimes causes the email to get flagged as spam.  I will provide hotel options and other details in a follow up email.


WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR TO THE MASTERCLASS:

  • Baseball appropriate clothing including baseball pants. (shorts are NOT recommended).
  • IMPORTANT: Each Catcher MUST have their own complete set of catchers gear including a protective cup.
  • Tennis shoes or turfs for indoor use.
  • Water bottle & snack.
